Ernest Hemingway was one of the most influential writers of the 20th Century.  Although he is famous for his contributions to the literary community, he remains an iconic figure because of his life off the page.

Let’s face it –  the man’s a legend.

He could do Anthony Bourdain’s job better than Anthony Bourdain.  Whether he was fishing in the Gulf Stream, bar hopping during the running of the bulls, or slaying puss on safari (see pic below), Hemingway was no stranger to adventure.

The exotic locales and revelry always came second, however.  Hemingway was endlessly devoted to his craft, working to produce some of the most influential prose ever written by an American author.

Be Like Hemingway was started to celebrate the charm, vitality, and work ethic that make Ernest Hemingway’s life and legacy special .
